Infinix GT NX Controller and Station Unveiled: Check Key Gaming Features

The company has unveiled the new GT NX Controller and GT NX Station, which come with features aimed at improving gaming performance, controls and connectivity.
Infinix says the two devices can work together to turn a smartphone into a portable gaming console. The GT NX Controller stands out with its pixel-level FPS precision touchpad, while the GT NX Station features TEC active cooling and a 9-in-1 port setup.
Pixel-Level FPS Precision Touchpad
The Infinix GT NX Controller comes with a glass touchpad that the company claims is the world's first mobile gaming controller to feature a pixel-level FPS precision touchpad. It is designed to provide more accurate aiming in first-person shooter (FPS) games.
The touchpad also supports swipe and mouse-like controls. This can be useful in games that require quick camera movements, accurate aiming and fast tracking of opponents.
Three-Chip Low-Latency Architecture
The controller uses a three-chip low-latency architecture. Two chips are placed in the left handle, while the third is located in the right handle. Infinix claims that this setup enables millisecond-level direct connections.
The company says the technology helps the controller respond quickly to inputs in FPS and MOBA games. Low input latency can be important for competitive gaming, where even a small delay can affect gameplay.
More Than 22 Hours of Gaming
Infinix claims that the GT NX Controller can offer more than 22 hours of gaming on a single charge. It also features adjustable haptic feedback with three intensity levels: low, medium and high.
Users can change the haptic feedback through the XArena gaming platform. In mapping mode, the controller can also provide different tactile feedback for specific games, allowing vibrations to match certain actions or events.
Multiple Ways to Use the Controller
The GT NX Controller can be used in several ways. Users can attach a smartphone for handheld gaming, use the controller for desktop gaming or play in a portable single-handed mode.
Its mapping feature can also be used with games that do not officially support external controllers. Touchscreen controls can be mapped to the controller's physical buttons. The controller also gets a laser-textured grip to reduce hand slippage during long gaming sessions.
GT NX Station Gets Active Cooling
Alongside the controller, Infinix has launched the GT NX Station, a multifunctional docking station designed for smartphone gaming. One of its key features is built-in TEC active cooling.
The cooling system is designed to help control smartphone temperatures during long gaming sessions. Since excessive heat can affect performance over time, active cooling can be useful for gamers who play demanding titles for extended periods.
9-in-1 Port Setup
The GT NX Station comes with a 9-in-1 port setup. It includes an HDMI port, an RJ45 Ethernet port, two USB-A ports, a USB-C host connection, a USB-C port, USB-C PD input, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack.
This allows users to connect the smartphone to a larger gaming setup and use wired accessories. The built-in Ethernet port can also provide a wired network connection, which may be useful for online competitive games where a stable connection is important.
Screen Mirroring and Extended Display
The GT NX Station supports screen mirroring and extended display modes. This allows users to display smartphone content on a larger screen and use the phone as an additional display in supported situations.
