Starting July 3, 2024, Reliance Jio will increase tariffs for both prepaid and postpaid plans, with prices rising by 12-27%. This move aims to boost average revenue per user (ARPU) and support investments in 5G and AI technology. Airtel and Vodafone Idea are also implementing similar price hikes.
New 5G Access Threshold
Jio and Airtel have revised the entry-level barrier for free unlimited 5G access. Previously available with plans starting at Rs 239/-, this perk now requires a minimum plan of Rs 349/-.
