Karbonn Rebel and Rebel Pro Launched in India: Check Price, Features and Specifications

November 03, 2026: Karbonn has returned to the Indian smartphone market with its new Rebel series, which includes the Karbonn Rebel and Rebel Pro. Both smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 processor and come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, they differ in battery capacity, display specifications and camera features. The standard Rebel packs a 7,000mAh battery, while the Rebel Pro comes with a 6,000mAh battery.
Price of Karbonn Rebel and Rebel Pro
The regular price of both smartphones in India is INR 14,999. However, under the launch offer, the Karbonn Rebel will be available for INR 11,999, while the Rebel Pro will cost INR 12,499.
Customers can also get a bank discount of INR 1,000, bringing the effective price of the Karbonn Rebel down to INR 10,999 and the Rebel Pro to INR 11,499, subject to the offer's terms and conditions.
The sale of both smartphones will begin on November 4 at 12 noon through Amazon. The Karbonn Rebel will be available in Blue, Gold and Silver, while the Rebel Pro will come in Blue, Cherry Red, Gold and Gray.
Display and Processor Differences
The Karbonn Rebel features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 650 nits. In comparison, the Rebel Pro has a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a higher 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 720 nits.
Both smartphones use the octa-core MediaTek Helio G81 processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz. They offer 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
Both models run Android 16, and the company claims they will offer a bloatware-free experience. Karbonn has also promised two years of operating system upgrades and two years of security updates.
50MP and 64MP Cameras
The Karbonn Rebel features a 50MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, autofocus and an 80-degree field of view. The Rebel Pro, on the other hand, comes with a 64MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus.
The Rebel Pro also has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. However, the company has not revealed the front camera specifications of the standard Rebel.
7,000mAh Battery and IP64 Rating
The Karbonn Rebel has a larger 7,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging. The Rebel Pro packs a 6,000mAh battery but supports slightly faster 20W wired charging.
Both smartphones have an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. For security, both models feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock.
Karbonn's return to the Indian smartphone market will put its new devices in the competitive sub-INR 15,000 segment. Their large batteries, Android 16 software and different display and camera features may attract buyers looking for affordable smartphones.
