October 09, 2026: Bajaj is introducing one update after another to its Pulsar range. This time, the Pulsar NS200 has received a major feature update. The new version reportedly gets several new features, including a quickshifter, four ride modes, traction control and a new 5-inch TFT instrument cluster. The motorcycle also gets a new Nardo Grey colour and radial tyres.

The updated motorcycle has reportedly started reaching dealerships. However, Bajaj has not officially announced the complete specifications and features. As a result, some details about the new Pulsar NS200 remain unconfirmed.

New Engine Produces 25.5 HP

Bajaj has reportedly made a minor change to the Pulsar NS200's engine. The current model's 200cc engine produces 24.5 hp, while the updated version is said to produce 25.5 hp.

This represents an increase of 1 hp over the existing model. Along with the engine update, the motorcycle's performance package has reportedly been improved with new electronic riding features.

Quickshifter and Four Ride Modes

The most notable additions to the updated Pulsar NS200 are the quickshifter and four ride modes. Bajaj has already introduced features such as a two-way quickshifter, traction control and multiple riding modes on the Pulsar NS400Z.

The company is now reportedly bringing some of this technology to the NS200. A quickshifter allows riders to change gears without using the clutch during suitable gear changes. The four ride modes are expected to adjust the motorcycle's engine response and electronic systems for different riding conditions.

The updated model is also said to feature traction control. This system helps manage rear-wheel slip when grip is reduced, improving control in suitable riding conditions.

New 5-Inch TFT Display

The updated Pulsar NS200 reportedly gets a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster. One of its key features is Google Maps mirroring, which allows navigation information to be displayed on the motorcycle's screen.

Along with the new display, the motorcycle's switchgear has also been updated. These changes are expected to improve convenience and make it easier for riders to access the bike's functions.

Radial Tyres and Adjustable Levers

The new Pulsar NS200 is also said to feature radial tyres. However, it is not yet clear whether the updated motorcycle will get radial tyres on both the front and rear wheels. Bajaj has not officially confirmed this detail.

Adjustable levers are another reported addition. It remains unclear whether both the brake and clutch levers will offer adjustment options.

Other reported features include a USB Type-C charging port, a hazard warning switch and a panic brake alert system.

37mm USD Fork Continues

The updated Pulsar NS200 reportedly retains the existing 37mm upside-down (USD) front fork. Earlier, the NS200 and N250 were spotted during testing with an updated instrument cluster and USD fork.

However, the version reportedly reaching dealerships appears to retain the same 37mm USD fork. This suggests that the main changes in the latest update focus on electronic features, the instrument cluster and tyres rather than major suspension changes.

New Nardo Grey Colour

The updated Pulsar NS200 is also expected to get a new Nardo Grey colour option. This will give buyers another choice alongside the existing colour options.

The addition of several new features could also lead to a price increase. However, Bajaj has not yet officially announced the updated motorcycle's price.

New Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Price in India: How Much Could It Cost?

The current Bajaj Pulsar NS200 with a USD fork is priced at around ₹1.48 lakh. One of its key rivals, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, is also priced in a similar range, at approximately ₹1.48 lakh to ₹1.49 lakh, depending on the variant.

The updated Pulsar NS200 could become more expensive due to the reported addition of a quickshifter, traction control, four ride modes, a TFT display, radial tyres and other features. However, the expected price has not been confirmed, and buyers will have to wait for Bajaj's official announcement.

For now, details about the updated NS200 are based on reports of motorcycles reaching dealerships. Bajaj's official announcement will clarify the final specifications, features and pricing. If these updates are confirmed, the Pulsar NS200 could offer a more technology-focused package than the current model.
