October 24, 2026: OnePlus is introducing special cooling features in its upcoming Ace 7 series to help control heat during gaming. The OnePlus Ace 7 and OnePlus Ace 7 Pro are scheduled to launch in China on October 29. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed details about the design, colour options and processors of both smartphones.

Both models will feature a dedicated gaming engine and a built-in cooling fan. OnePlus claims these features will help control temperatures during long gaming sessions and maintain stable performance.

What Is the Design of the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro?

OnePlus has revealed the design of both smartphones through a post on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. Both models feature a square camera module in the upper-left corner of the rear panel. The design reportedly resembles the camera module of the company's flagship OnePlus 16.

The camera module houses two vertically arranged lenses inside a capsule-shaped section. A third camera lens and a vent-like grille sit outside this section. The grille is believed to be connected to the built-in cooling fan. An LED flash is also visible on the right side of the camera module.

The power and volume buttons are located on the right side of both phones. However, OnePlus has not yet revealed details about the camera sensors, resolution or other hardware specifications.

OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro to Get Three Colour Options

OnePlus has revealed three colour options for each smartphone.

The standard OnePlus Ace 7 will be available in Tempered, Midnight Black and Radiant White. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro will come in Windbreaker, Midnight Black and Radiant White.

The official English names of these colours may vary because they have been translated from Chinese. Buyers will have to wait for the company's final retail listings to confirm the names.

Snapdragon Processors and Built-in Cooling Fans for Gaming

OnePlus is using different processors in the two smartphones. According to the company's announcement, the standard OnePlus Ace 7 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series processor, while the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Both phones will feature the company's Wind-Chaser Gaming Engine. This system is designed to maintain stable performance during gaming and help manage heat.

Another key feature is the built-in cooling fan. OnePlus says the system uses a dual-airflow design, with separate airflow paths intended to cool the chipset and the rear panel. This active cooling system could help manage heat during extended gaming sessions. However, independent testing will be needed to determine how much it reduces temperatures and improves performance.

OnePlus Ace 7 Series Launch Date, Pre-Orders and Price

OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro will launch in China on October 29. Pre-orders have already begun in the country.

The company has not yet announced the prices or complete specifications of the two smartphones. Their potential launch dates and availability in international markets, including India, also remain unconfirmed.

The combination of powerful Snapdragon processors, a dedicated gaming engine and built-in cooling fans could make the OnePlus Ace 7 series an interesting option for mobile gamers. However, buyers in India will have to wait for an official announcement regarding availability and pricing in INR.
