OnePlus Launches Compact 'Chhotu Phone'

June 2025 - OnePlus has launched its new compact flagship smartphone, OnePlus 13s, in India today, Thursday, June 5. The official launch event was live-streamed on the OnePlus India YouTube channel as well as on the company’s official website.

The Chinese smartphone brand had already revealed several features of the upcoming device before the launch. The company has also shared that the phone will have a compact design and be available in three colour variants – Black Velvet, Pink Satin and Green Silk.

Expected Price in India

OnePlus has not shared the exact price yet. But the company’s CEO, Robin Liu, said the price could be between the OnePlus 13 (Rs 69,999) and OnePlus 13R (Rs 42,999). Some reports say the phone might cost around Rs 55,000. You can buy the phone from Amazon, the OnePlus India website, and offline stores.

Key Features

The phone will have a 6.32-inch screen and run on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It will not have the usual alert slider. Instead, it will come with a new ‘Plus Key’. The phone will offer up to 512GB storage and 12GB RAM. It will also have smart AI features that OnePlus recently showed.

Camera and Network Features

The phone will have a 32MP front camera. Reports say the back will have a 50MP dual camera setup. For internet and network, the OnePlus 13s will support G1 Wi-Fi and 5.5G technology.
