September 15, 2026: Oppo's new smartphone series, the Oppo A7 Pro, has arrived in the market. The phone will be available in three colours. Its key features include a large 6.57-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset. 

It also offers up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage and a large 8,000mAh battery. The battery supports 45W fast charging. The phone has also been launched with an IP69K rating, offering protection against dust and water. 1. Royal  Display

This dual-SIM phone runs on ColorOS 16. It features a 6.57-inch Full HD Plus display with a resolution of 2,372x1,080 pixels. The screen will have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. The company claims that the display can have a typical brightness of 800 nits and a maximum brightness of 1,400 nits.

2. MediaTek Chipset

The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset. It pairs up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This phone has an IP69K rating for its dust and water-resistant, robust build quality.

3. 50-megapixel camera

Talking about the camera, the phone has a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back. This camera, with an f/1.9 aperture and autofocus, supports up to 10x digital zoom. There is an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls, with an aperture of f/2.1.

4. 5G connectivity and other features

For connectivity, this phone has 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. For navigation, it supports systems like GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou. A USB Type-C port is also provided for charging.

5. 8,000mAh battery

One of the biggest attractions of the Oppo A7 Pro is its 8,000mAh capacity battery. It supports 45W SuperVOOC flash charging. The phone measures about 159.08 x 75.81 x 8.80 millimetres and weighs about 205 grams.

Price and Availability

The Oppo A7 Pro is priced at CNY 2,199 for the 6GB RAM and 256GB storage model, which is around ₹31,000 in Indian currency. The top-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 2,499, which is around ₹35,000.

The phone will be available in three colours — Desert Brown, Every Step Blossoms and Riding the Waves. Pre-bookings have already started in China, while sales will begin on September 11. However, Oppo has not yet confirmed the phone's availability or launch date in India.
