Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed key details about the design and selfie cameras of both smartphones.

The two models will have noticeably different rear designs. The standard F35 5G will feature a horizontal, pill-shaped camera module, while the F35 Pro 5G will come with a rectangular camera island. OPPO has also confirmed a 50-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera for both models, making the upcoming series worth watching ahead of its India launch.

OPPO has confirmed that the F35 series will officially launch in India on October 5. The series will include two smartphones, the OPPO F35 5G and OPPO F35 Pro 5G. According to the information shared by the company, the OPPO F35 5G will be available in at least a white colour option. Meanwhile, an orange colour option has been seen for the OPPO F35 Pro 5G.

However, OPPO has not yet announced the prices, sale dates, or RAM and storage variants of the two phones in India. This information could be revealed closer to the launch date.

Big Difference in the Design of the Two Phones

The OPPO F35 5G will feature a flat back panel. A horizontal, pill-shaped camera module will be placed on the upper part of the rear panel. The module will include two rear cameras and an LED flash.

On the other hand, the OPPO F35 Pro 5G will feature a rectangular camera island. This phone will also have two rear cameras. In terms of design, the Pro model looks similar to the previous-generation smartphone. The power button and volume controls are placed on the right side of both phones, while the left side has been kept clean. Although both phones have a modern design, OPPO has given the standard and Pro models different looks.

50-Megapixel Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera

One of the most notable features of the F35 series could be its front camera. According to OPPO, both phones will feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide natural selfie camera with a 100-degree field of view. The camera will also support Naturaltone 2.0 technology.

This camera could be useful for group selfies and wider-frame photos. The company has also confirmed that the OPPO F35 Pro 5G will support video recording at up to 4K resolution. However, OPPO has not yet revealed the maximum video recording resolution of the standard F35 5G.

Dimensity Chip and 8,000mAh Battery Hint

According to the report, the OPPO F35 5G could be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6360 chipset. Meanwhile, the F35 Pro 5G may feature a more powerful octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max chipset.

Both phones are also expected to feature an 8,000mAh battery and support 80W wired fast charging. However, details about the battery capacity and charging support are still based on reports. OPPO has not officially confirmed these specifications yet.

OPPO has not yet announced the prices of the F35 series. Similarly, the complete details about the RAM, storage, chipset and other hardware have not been revealed. This information could be announced during the launch event on October 5.
