Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Jio), the market leader with the largest subscriber base, further consolidates its position in Rajasthan. According to the latest TRAI subscriber data report for January 2024, Jio added 2.39 lakh new wireless subscribers and further solidified its dominance in Rajasthan.

In the same period, Bharti Airtel added 1.23 lakh subscribers whereas Vodafone Idea’s subscriber base decreased by 2.20 lakh subscribers in Rajasthan. BSNL too lost its 2,022 existing subscribers in the region. Jio achieved a subscriber base of 2.65 crores in Rajasthan as of January 31, 2024. In a short span of less than eight years of its operation, Jio cements its position as the most preferred telecom brand in the service area.

Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and BSNL recorded a wireless subscriber base of 2.32 crores, 1.07 crores, and 56.65 lakhs, respectively, in the same period. The total telecom subscriber number in Rajasthan is 6.61 crores as of January 31, 2024. A key factor contributing to Jio’s rapid growth in Rajasthan is its robust and largest network, covering 99.5 per cent of the population. Besides this, Jio Air Fiber services are operational in 352 towns and cities of Rajasthan.
