September 19, 2026: For the past few days, there has been speculation that the price of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series in India could increase by up to Rs 20,000. However, according to the latest information, the prices of the Galaxy S26 series have not increased at this time. Sources indicate that the reported price hike, which was allegedly supposed to take effect from September 18, has not been implemented for now.

The Galaxy S26 series includes the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Earlier claims suggested that the prices of different RAM and storage variants of all three models could increase by up to Rs 20,000.

What Was the Claim About the Rs 20,000 Price Hike?

According to famous Tipster Abhishek Yadav claimed on X that the price of every variant of the Galaxy S26 series in India could increase by Rs 20,000. According to the claim, the revised prices were expected to come into effect from September 18.

If the claim had been implemented, the price of the Galaxy S26 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage would have increased from Rs 87,999 to Rs 1,07,999. Similarly, the base variant of the Galaxy S26 Plus was expected to increase from Rs 1,19,999 to Rs 1,39,999. Earlier Reports Suggested a Rs 12,000 Price Hike

Before the Rs 20,000 price hike claim surfaced, another report suggested that the Galaxy S26 series could see a price increase of up to Rs 12,000. Many tipsters had claimed that the price of the Galaxy S26 12GB + 256GB variant could increase from Rs 87,999 to Rs 99,999. The 12GB + 512GB variant was reportedly expected to increase from Rs 1,07,999 to Rs 1,19,999.

Therefore, multiple reports about a possible Galaxy S26 price hike have emerged, but none of these claims represent an official announcement from Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Prices Remain Unchanged for Now

The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra are still listed at their launch prices on the Samsung India website. The Galaxy S26 Plus is currently shown as out of stock. This means the current official listings do not match the earlier claims that the prices would increase from September 18.

Samsung has not made any official announcement about a price hike for the Galaxy S26 series at the time of writing. Therefore, the reported revised prices should not be treated as confirmed. For now, the Galaxy S26 series appears to be continuing at its existing prices. If Samsung decides to change the prices in the future, its official announcements and website listings will be the most reliable sources for confirmation.
