Sony ULT Tower 5, 7 and Max Launched in India: Check Price, Features and Offers

Sony has launched the second-generation ULT Tower 5, ULT Tower 7 and ULT Tower Max in India. The lineup brings powerful audio, karaoke controls, multi-speaker connectivity and upgraded party lighting, with prices starting at INR 32,990.

September 08, 2026: Sony has launched three new models in the party speaker and powerful audio system segment in India. The second-generation Sony ULT Tower 5, ULT Tower 7 and ULT Tower Max have been introduced as part of the company's ULT Power Sound series.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor parties, these speakers come with DJ inputs, karaoke controls, multi-speaker connectivity and upgraded lighting, along with powerful sound output.

The most powerful model in the new series is the ULT Tower Max, which has a rated power output of 2,150 watts. Meanwhile, the ULT Tower 5 and ULT Tower 7 feature built-in batteries, allowing them to be used without a direct power connection.

Sony ULT Tower 5, Tower 7 and Tower Max Prices

The Sony ULT Tower 5 is priced at INR 32,990 in India, while the ULT Tower 7 is priced at INR 49,990. Both models will go on sale from October 8.

The Sony ULT Tower Max is priced at INR 1,39,990 and will go on sale from November 15. The models can be purchased from Sony's retail stores, including Sony Centre and Sony Exclusive stores, as well as Amazon. As part of the launch offer, the ULT Tower Max will be bundled with a dual wireless microphone worth INR 19,990. Customers can also get cashback of up to INR 15,000.

The ULT Tower 7 comes with a cashback offer of INR 4,999, while the ULT Tower 5 is available with cashback of INR 3,000.

Features of Sony ULT Tower 5

The ULT Tower 5 offers a 300-watt sound output. It features a 230mm woofer, ULT Duct technology and two tweeters. Sony's ULT Sound Mode is also available on this model.

The speaker can be positioned vertically or horizontally and has four handles for easier carrying. It also has an IPX4 rating for protection against light water splashes.

Sound Field Optimization technology automatically adjusts the audio according to the surrounding environment. Sony claims that the battery can provide up to 20 hours of playback on a single charge.

The speaker features 56 LEDs for party lighting. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, USB-C, DJ input, karaoke and multi-speaker connectivity. It also has USB-A, RCA, XLR input/output and a microphone input, along with a low-latency DSP.

ULT Tower 7 Offers 420 Watts of Output

The ULT Tower 7 is the more powerful of the two battery-powered models, with a 420-watt sound output.

It features a large 280mm circular woofer, a rear tweeter, two mid-range drivers and a total of four tweeters positioned at the front and rear.

In addition to ULT Sound Mode, the speaker offers Live Sound Mode and a 10-band equaliser.

The Tower 7 can also be positioned vertically or horizontally. Its four handles make it relatively easy to carry. The speaker has an IPX4 rating and also supports Sound Field Optimisation technology.

Sony claims that the ULT Tower 7 can offer up to 30 hours of battery life. It has 72 LEDs for party lighting.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth, USB-C, XLR/RCA DJ input, karaoke and multi-speaker connectivity. Users can also connect multiple speakers through a wired connection.

2,150-Watt Sony ULT Tower Max

The most powerful model in the new series is the Sony ULT Tower Max, which has a rated power output of 2,150 watts.

Its audio setup includes three 280mm circular woofers, with two positioned at the front and one at the rear. It also features ULT Duct technology, two mid-range drivers and four tweeters.

The speaker offers ULT1, ULT2 and LIVE FLAT sound modes, along with a 10-band equaliser.

One of the key features of the ULT Tower Max is its 360-degree sound output. Sony says its Sound Field Optimisation technology can adjust the audio based on surrounding noise and the position of nearby walls.

Karaoke and Multi-Speaker Connectivity

The ULT Tower Max features microphone volume and echo controls for karaoke. These settings can be controlled through the speaker's rear panel or the companion app.

Connectivity options include XLR/RCA DJ inputs and USB-C. Along with connecting to PCs and smartphones, users can also take advantage of wired multi-speaker connectivity and stereo pairing.

The low-latency DSP is designed to enable faster audio processing.

The top of the speaker is splash-resistant. It also features four handles and side wheels for easier transportation. The ULT Tower Max can be used in both vertical and horizontal positions.

More Lighting Compared to the Previous Model

Sony has also made a major upgrade to the ULT Tower Max's lighting system. The new model features 100 LEDs, compared with the 34 LEDs offered on the previous ULT Tower 10.

The company has therefore placed a strong focus on party lighting and karaoke, along with powerful audio performance, across the new ULT Tower lineup.

The ULT Tower 5 and ULT Tower 7 will go on sale in India from October 8, while the flagship ULT Tower Max will be available from November 15.
