Niki is an AI (Artificial Intelligence) powered automated messaging platform that can process customer orders and be a one-stop destination for all commerce needs. All one has to do is chat with Niki (similar to Siri in iPhone) and can recharge phone, order food online, book cabs, cancel tickets, book hotels, laundry, remind appointments and many such activities in a fraction of a second.

Besides these, Niki is devised to provide recommendations, offers and arrange products & services, customized as well, according to the needs. It does so after learning the preferences over time because of its machine learning build.

With AI assisted buying experience, Niki fulfils all commercial needs where before a user was installing 30 different applications that would eat memory, slows down the phone and become uncomfortable.

Presently, the startup is focusing on developing the product as it has been launched a couple of weeks back. It is a preview release with invite codes being given to only limited users. The startup is hopeful of starting in full force from July onward to provide its users with more than 5 services.

What makes Niki better than other chat commerce platform already available in the market is the fact that Niki is the only application that is able to process orders without human intervention.

Niki is founded by four IIT Kharagpur students Sachin Jaiswal, Shihir Modi, Keshav Prawas and Nitin Babel. Targeted at huge 950 million mobile user base pan India, Niki soon will be available on SMS in the near future in order to benefit those without an internet facility. Currently, it is only available on Android.
