October 07, 2026: Vivo has launched the Vivo V80 as a new V-series smartphone in India. The new phone has been introduced as the successor to the Vivo V70, which was launched in February this year. The Vivo V80 features an AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, and a triple rear camera setup developed in collaboration with Zeiss. One of the biggest attractions of the phone is its large 7,200mAh battery.

Vivo V80 Price and Sale

The price of the Vivo V80 in India starts at Rs 62,999. This price is for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone will be available in a total of three storage configurations:

  • 8GB + 128GB: Rs 62,999
  • 8GB + 256GB: Rs 69,999
  • 8GB + 512GB: Rs 79,999

The Vivo V80 will be available in three colour options: Stellar Black, Horizon Blue and Sunrise Anthem. The phone will go on sale from October 13 via Flipkart and Vivo's online store.

As part of the launch offer, buyers will get a 10 percent instant cashback or a 10 percent exchange bonus. In addition, 100GB of Google One storage will be offered at no additional cost.

144Hz AMOLED Display

The Vivo V80 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,260 x 2,750 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. As a result, the display is designed to provide a smooth experience while scrolling, navigating animations and playing fast-paced games. The display supports a P3 wide colour gamut and has a pixel density of 459ppi.

According to Vivo, the display's local peak brightness can reach up to 5,000 nits, while its HBM brightness is rated at 1,800 nits.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Chipset

For performance, the Vivo V80 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The chipset is built on a 4nm process and is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. In terms of storage, the phone offers up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

On the software front, the Vivo V80 runs on Android 17-based OriginOS 7.

Triple Camera Setup with Zeiss

The camera system is one of the biggest attractions of the Vivo V80. The phone features a triple rear camera setup developed in collaboration with Zeiss.

The primary camera is a 50-megapixel sensor with autofocus, OIS and an f/1.88 aperture. It is accompanied by a 50-megapixel Zeiss night telephoto camera with autofocus, OIS and an f/2.65 aperture.

The third camera is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 115-degree field of view.

For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 50-megapixel Zeiss group selfie camera on the front. It features autofocus, an f/2.0 aperture and a 92-degree field of view.

7,200mAh Battery and 90W Charging

In terms of battery, the Vivo V80 packs a large 7,200mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging.

For protection against dust and water, the phone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings.

Connectivity and Other Features

In terms of connectivity, the Vivo V80 supports 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The USB port supports USB 2.0. The phone also features an infrared blaster and an X-axis linear motor.

The sensors on the device include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and electronic compass.

The Vivo V80 measures 157.52 x 74.33 x 7.69mm and weighs 203 grams.
