November 05, 2026: Vivo's upcoming flagship smartphone series, the X500, could be accompanied by the company's Watch GT 2 smartwatch in the Indian market. Although the smartwatch was launched in China in October 2025, it has not yet made its debut in India.

According to a tipster, Vivo may introduce the Watch GT 2 in India alongside the X500 series. However, the company has not officially confirmed the launch date, pricing or specifications of the Indian variant.

In a post on X, tipster Sanju Choudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu) claimed that Vivo is planning to launch the Watch GT 2 alongside the X500 series. However, he did not provide any specific details about the smartwatch's expected launch date.

It is also unclear whether the Indian variant will offer the same specifications and features as the Chinese model.

2.07-Inch AMOLED Display

The Vivo Watch GT 2, launched in China, features a 2.07-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a resolution of 432 × 514 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. According to Vivo, the screen can achieve a peak local brightness of up to 2,400 nits.

The smartwatch runs on the BlueOS 3.0 operating system and is available in two variants: Bluetooth and eSIM.

The eSIM version allows users to make calls and access other connectivity features without relying entirely on a connected smartphone.

Battery Life of Up to 33 Days

For health and fitness tracking, the Vivo Watch GT 2 offers heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen (SpO2) measurement. It also supports more than 100 sports modes, along with NFC and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.

The smartwatch comes with a 2ATM water-resistance rating.

Vivo has provided different battery capacities and backup claims for the Bluetooth and eSIM variants.

  • Bluetooth variant: 695mAh battery with a claimed battery life of up to 33 days.

  • eSIM variant: 595mAh battery with a claimed battery life of up to 28 days.

However, these battery performance figures apply to the Chinese models. It remains unclear whether the Indian variants will feature the same battery capacities and offer similar backup.

Vivo X500 Series May Launch on November 25

The possible Indian launch of the Watch GT 2 is also linked to reports surrounding the upcoming Vivo X500 series.

Earlier, three models from the series, the Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, were reportedly spotted on the certification website of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

A separate report also claimed that pre-bookings for the X500 series have started at selected offline retail stores. However, details regarding advance payments or booking terms are not yet available.

According to various reports, the Vivo X500 series could launch in India on November 25. The Watch GT 2 may also make its Indian debut at the same event.

However, Vivo has not officially announced the launch date of either the smartphone series or the smartwatch. More details regarding Indian pricing, availability and specifications are expected once the company makes an official announcement.
