Vodafone Mobile Network (both data and voice) was down in Udaipur since afternoon today for almost two hours.

Around 1230pm today, many Vodafone network users across Udaipur experienced No Network on their Vodafone SIMs.  Many of them did the normal troubleshooting, searching for network manually, automatic searches, restarting the phones, removing and reinserting their SIMs, etc.  When none of this worked, mobile service centers were visited by many users, just to find out that the service in the city will remain down. For how long and the reasons thereof, even the Vodafone team was unable to answer.

The network is still down in certain internal parts of the city, while areas on outskirts, i.e. Dabok, Balicha, etc were earlier getting extremely weak signals and unable to make or receive phone calls.  The Network is back now.  As per outage reports, distress calls had been received from Vodafone users in Udaipur, Jaipur, Bangalore among other centers
