WhatsApp is a popular messaging application owned by Facebook. It allows users to send text messages, make voice calls and video calls, share photos, videos and documents, and create group chats. One by one, WhatsApp is unveiling new features. The new WhatsApp ‘Edit Button’ feature, which enables users to alter their messages, was recently introduced by the app. WhatsApp gives you more control over your messages, allowing you to do everything from fix a minor mistake to add more information. 

When a message has been sent, you may access this feature by long-pressing it and selecting "Edit" from the menu. One thing to keep in mind is that the label "Edited" will appear next to the updated message. This implies that the person who receives the message will be aware of the changes you have made. Within 15 minutes after clicking the send button, users may be able to edit messages. 

WhatsApp provides end-to-end encryption, which ensures that messages, calls,photos and videos shared on the platform are securely encrypted and can only be accessed by the intended recipients. On this note, the edited messages, media and calls made by you and protected by end-to-end-encryption. Without erasing the text messages, you may now make modifications.
