Xiaomi 17T Price Hike in India: New Price, Specs and Details

October 2, 20226: The price of the Xiaomi 17T smartphone has increased again in India. The prices of both the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variants have increased by Rs 5,000 in one go. The new prices have already come into effect. As a result, this premium Xiaomi smartphone has become more expensive ahead of the upcoming festive season sales.
What Is the New Price of Xiaomi 17T?
After the latest price hike, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Xiaomi 17T now costs Rs 69,999. Earlier, this model was available for Rs 64,999.
Meanwhile, the price of the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant has increased to Rs 74,999, up from Rs 69,999. The new prices are now listed on Xiaomi's online store and Amazon India. The smartphone is available in Black, Blue and Violet colour options.
Price Increased by Rs 10,000 Since Launch
The Xiaomi 17T was first launched in India in June. At the time of launch, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant was priced at Rs 59,999, while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model cost Rs 64,999.
The prices of both variants were then increased by Rs 5,000 in July. With the latest Rs 5,000 hike, both variants are now Rs 10,000 more expensive than their launch prices.
The company has not yet officially announced the latest price hike. However, tipster Sanju Chowdhury shared a document on his X account that appears to be an official communication. The document reportedly shows that Xiaomi informed its retail partners in India about the revised prices. According to the information, the new prices came into effect on October 1.
1.5K AMOLED Display
The Xiaomi 17T features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Leica Camera and 6,500mAh Battery
For photography, the Xiaomi 17T features a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. There is also a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is powered by a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 67W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
With the latest price hike, the Xiaomi 17T is now significantly more expensive than it was at launch. The 512GB storage variant, in particular, now costs around Rs 75,000.
