Two Udaipur hotels featured in the list of top 100 hotels published by the Travel + Leisure magazine. The results were based on the survey conducted among its readers worldwide.

Oberoi Vanyavilas in Ranthambhore was voted as the best hotel in India and was ranked 16th globally. Leela Palace in Udaipur (globally 34th position) was the second best hotel in India. Leela Palace was also rated as the 7th best hotel in Asia.

Incidentally 5 of the top 6 hotels in India are from Rajasthan with the only other being Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra (globally 69th position).

Rambagh palace in Jaipur(globally 43rd position), Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur (globally 68th position) and Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur (globally 84th position) are the other Indian hotels in the top 100.
