Udaipur Sees 2,16,150 Tourist Footfall in January 2025

Udaipur continues to attract tourists throughout the year; tourism officials believe that the city's popularity will continue to grow

Udaipur, February 11, 2025 - Udaipur, known as the "Lake City," has witnessed a record-breaking number of tourists in January 2025. More than 2.25 lakh tourists visited the city, marking the highest number in the past 14 years. According to the Udaipur Tourism Department, a total of 2,16,150 tourists arrived in Udaipur this January. This number is higher than last year’s 2,07,931 visitors. Out of the total, 1,95,000 were domestic tourists, while 21,150 were foreign visitors. Last year, around 1,89,500 domestic and 18,431 foreign tourists had come to the city.

Udaipur continues to attract tourists throughout the year due to its beautiful lakes, grand palaces, and rich heritage. The City Palace, Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar, and Jag Mandir remain major attractions. The city's pleasant weather, vibrant markets, and traditional festivals also draw visitors from across India and abroad.

Tourism officials believe that the city's popularity will continue to grow, bringing economic benefits and boosting local businesses.
