Offering yet another vacation package, Indian Railways has now announced a 6-day tour package from Mumbai to Srinagar. All those who have waited for long to visit the beautiful valley of Kashmir can avail this tour package and enjoy a fantastic vacation.

The trip will begin on 25th September from Mumbai wherein the distance between Mumbai and Srinagar will be covered by air in IndiGo flights. The 5N/6D tour package is priced at 27,300 rupees per person covering destinations Mumbai, Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonmarg and Pahalgam. The tour fare covers travelling costs, hotel accommodation, breakfast and dinner, commutation charges, IRCTC tour escort service during the trip, travel insurance, toll parking and taxes.

Here are the details of the entire package day wise:

Day 1 Mumbai to Srinagar

Passengers will board IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Srinagar on 25th or 26th September. After arriving in Srinagar, they can check-in into a house boat. They can enjoy the entire day in Shikara moving around to enjoy the beauty at their own cost. The stay is for one night and the tourists will be treated with a lavish dinner.

Day 2 Srinagar to Pahalgam

On the 2nd day, the tourists will be taken to Pahalgam where they can visit Awantipura ruins, Betab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwadi. This will be followed by dinner and overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 3 Pahalgam-Gulmarg-Srinagar

Visit to Gumarg after a lavish breakfast.  Local sightseeing and dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 4 Srinagar-Sonmarg-Srinagar

Trip to Sonmarg on the 4th day. Local sightseeing, ridings at own cost, drive back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar are part of the package.

Day 5 Srinagar

Sightseeing-Mughal Garden, Cheshmashahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Gardens as well as the famous Hazratbal Shrine situated on the bank of Dal Lake. People can also go for shopping.

Day 6 Checkout from hotel and flight back to Mumbai.
