7 Railway Stations, Including Jawar and Jaisamand, Upgraded
Passengers will now get clear visual information about coach positions, arrival/departure and platform details through Integrated Passenger Information System
Udaipur, Nov 28, 2025 - Passenger amenities are continuously being enhanced across all stations under the Ajmer Division. In this series, an Integrated Passenger Information System has now been installed at seven more stations of the division. This system includes a Coach Guidance System, Single Line Display Board, At-a-Glance Display Board and Auto Announcement System.
This will make it easier for passengers to find their coach and platform. Passengers will now know on which platform a train will arrive and the position of each coach on the platform.
The system has been set up under the guidance of Senior Divisional Signal and Telecommunication Engineer Ram Avtar Meena at Jawar, Jaisamand, Semari, Rishabhdev, Bichhiwada, Sendra and Swaroopganj stations of the Ajmer Division.
The display boards at small railway stations in nearby areas have now started functioning.
Divisional Railway Manager Raju Bhutada said the installation of the Integrated Passenger Information System will make it easier for passengers to reach their train and coach and also help them access other train-related information easily.
The cost of installing this system was approximately Rs 3.60 crore.
