Without doubt, Udaipur has been a destination of choice for celebrity events, be it a wedding or movie shooting or romantic holidays to the Aravallis. Udaipur has it all. The mountains, the lakes, the weather and the proximity of distances between one location to another.

Bollywood star Neelam Kothari, who had been to Udaipur earlier this month to attend a social event, shared her experiences with the Dy Director of the Regional Tourism Office, Shikha Saxena. Neelam, like other celebrities was overwhelmed with the beauty and serenity of Udaipur and has shared a small clip of her experience with the City of Lakes.

Shikha Saxena, in an interaction with Udaipur Times said that the Regional Tourism Office, in its endeavor to enhance the tourism quotient of Udaipur across the year, comes up with different activities to ensure that tourists keep flocking to the city. The monsoon and winter months of Udaipur do not need to invite tourists, because nature has endowed the City of Lakes with beauty during these seasons. It is during the summer months that various activities and events keep the momentum going. Of late, the Tourism Department is supporting the Kathak Ashram in the 4th AIDA International Classical Dance Festival being conducted in Udaipur. The event began on 27 April and will end today 30 April. The last three festivals were held in Nepal (2018), Thailand (2019 and Malaysia (2020).
