Beginning 5th August, there will be no entry fee for visitors accessing Museums and centrally protected museums and archaeological sites/monuments. This free entry will be applicable till 15 August, as a part of the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” program commemorating 75 years of Independence.

The order to this effect was given by the Dr. NK Pathak, Director General of the Archaeological Survey of India on 3rd August.
