In order to promote night tourism in Udaipur, the timings of many tourist place have been increased by 2 hours. The increase in hours will boost night tourism in the city. The city Administration and Tourism Department have taken this stepamong others, to give visitors more time so that they may explore the tourist sites without feeling rushed by the approaching closing hour. The amended timings are as follows:

• Moti Magri at Fateh Sagar: till 10pm
• Mardana Mahal at the City Palace: till 9pm
• Karni Mata Ropeway: till 8:00pm
• Fish Aquarium at Fateh Sagar: 8:00am - 11:00pm
• Lok Kala Mandal: 6:00am to 7:00pm; A one hour cultural program will be held daily from 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm
• Bagore Ki Haveli: till 9:00pm

According to the Deputy Director of the regional tourism office in Udaipur, efforts have been made to extend the hours of operation for Udaipur's tourist spots after seeing the positive responseof the night market and food market in Jaipur.
