The Outlook Responsible Tourism Initiative has selected  Rajasthan to further spread the message of sustainability to some of the most remote regions this year. Rajasthan has long praised its people and the unique hues of its culture, which is, as we all know, the cornerstone of responsible tourism. Indian Responsible Tourism State Awards (IRSTA), will be given to Rajasthan under different categories. 

The Outlook Traveler Awards are the gold standard for excellence in the travel and tourism sector and honor the top performers each year. The awards take a 3600 perspective of the tourism industry's evolution into account. The Outlook Indian Responsible Tourism Awards (IRTA), the only responsible tourism awards in India, have been around for seven years and have established themselves as benchmarks for exemplary practices that alter destinations and positively affect local lives.

Awards will be given under different categories. Over the years, the Outlook Traveler Awards have drawn people from across the travel and tourism sector. These have included travel agents, opinion leaders, authors, designers, artists, disruptors in the travel technology industry, celebrities, hotels, representatives from international and state tourist boards, ambassadors, and government officials.

• Sustainable Enterprises in Eco-fragile Landscapes
• Sustainability Champions: Pathfinders

• Heritage Conservation
