The Forest Department is creating two parks in Udaipur. This work is about to complete, and the Sevashram flyover is being prepared on the other side by UIT. All three will be inaugurated during the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s anticipated visit.

Butterfly Park

The Forest Department is developing the Butterfly Park at the Biodiversity Park. Its work is in the final stage these days. A butterfly is being created from plants here, which will appear to be a caterpillar from a distance but as you get closer, it will resemble a full butterfly. Presently such plants are being planted on which butterflies rely.

Similarly, Shiv Park in Ubeshwar ji was finished approximately two years ago, and this park, created in 30 hectares at a cost of Rs 35 lakh, is awaiting inauguration. Here a flyover has been constructed at Sevashram with a cost of about 20 crores by UIT.

One-way traffic from the flyover was started on a trial basis. On Monday 2 January,2023, yellow and black stripes were being painted on the walls of cleanliness and asphalting was also being done on the flyover road. Simultaneously whitewashing is being done with the removal of construction material from below.

For the inauguration of all the three places proposals are being send to CM Ashok Gehlot’s Office.
