Ease in travelling from Udaipur to Jaipur and Ahmedabad – Airport Winter Schedule announced

Beginning 25 September, there will be 15 flights to six cities from Udaipur

The Winter Flight schedule at the Maharana Pratap Airport will be effective from 31 October.

Udaipur Airport Director, Nandita Bhatt, informed that SpiceJet airlines have begun three flights starting today, 25 September. The first flight will be between Udaipur and Jaipur, facilitating the twice a day Udaipur-Jaipur route. The second and third flights will be Udaipur-Ahmadabad and Udaipur-Delhi. During the summer schedule, the airline had reduced its operations. The full winter schedule is awaited.

As per the available information, the incoming morning flight from Jaipur to Udaipur will land at Dabok at 10:30am and will depart Udaipur at 11:30am.  The flight to Ahmedabad will be via Jaipur for one month and then on it will run directly between Udaipur and Ahmedabad. This flight will take off at 11:50am from Udaipur.

This arrangement was a necessity as most of the tourists to Udaipur come via Ahmedabad and Jaipur, and this arrangement will make the connectivity easier for them. Ahmedabad is the nearest international airport to Udaipur and tourists visit Mumbai, Goa, Dubai from Ahmedabad, so they can have a connecting flight easily.

Presently, there are 11 flights for five cities from Udaipur. And beginning 25 September, there will be 15 flights to six cities from Udaipur.

31 October onward, there will be 9 flights from Udaipur to Delhi, 6 for Mumbai, 4 for Jaipur, 2 for Kolkata, 1 for Hyderabad, 1 for Ahmedabad, 1 for Chennai and 2 for Bengaluru. It will be for the first time in history, that there will be a direct flight to Kolkata.
