Vande Bharat Express will be the first in Eastern India and the seventh in India. Vande Bharat Express, built in India, will shortly connect Jaipur and Indore. Madhya Pradesh has received its first semi-high-speed train service. It will run between Indore and the Rajasthan station of Dungarpur. The schedule has been published by the railway authority. PM Narendra Modi will launch the indigenous semi-high-speed train in the first week of January. A rack of 16 coaches is now operational.
According to reports, the train would depart from Indore at 5:50 am in the morning and arrive in Ujjain at 7:20 am. It will reach Nagda at 8:30 a.m and will arrive at Sawai Madhopur at 12:45 pm and then arrive in Jaipur at 2:40 pm. Normally, it takes roughly 10 hours to go from Indore to Jaipur; however, this train will cover the journey in 8 hours and 50 minutes.
The Vande Bharat train arrived in West Bengal for a test run. On December 30, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the train that will connect Howrah and Jalpaiguri in North Bengal. The operations were scheduled for the week of November 2022 and later in January 2023, while MP Lalwani has stated that the services will be available on January 9 at the PBD conference.
Vande Bharat Express, formerly known as Train 18, is a semi-high-speed, electric multiple unit train operated by Indian Railways. The Integral Coach Factory in Chennai developed and manufactured this train. Plus point of this train is that it will provide passenger friendly facilities such as automatic doors and WiFi access will be available in the train.
