Udaipur, March 22, 2025 - Considering the festival of Holi, the railway introduced the Agra-Asarva Holi Special Train for eight trips between March 15 and March 30. This train is running three days a week and has received a great response from passengers. Due to high demand, people are requesting the railway to make this a regular train service.

The railway has launched train number 04169, Agra Cantt-Asarva tri-weekly special train, which operates from March 15 to March 31 with eight trips. Similarly, train number 04170, Asarva-Agra Cantt tri-weekly special train, runs from March 16 to April 1.

Train Route and Coaches

This Holi special train covers important stations including Udaipur City, Fatehpur Sikri, Bayana, Gangapur City, Sawai Madhopur, Keshorai Patan, Bundi, Mandalgarh, Chanderiya, Mavli, Jawar, Dungarpur, and Himmatnagar before reaching Asarva.

The Train Consists of 24 Coaches

  • One Second AC Coach

  • Three Third AC Coaches

  • Ten Sleeper Coaches

  • Eight General Coaches

  • Two Guard Coaches

Connecting Major Tourist Cities

This train connects Agra and Udaipur, two of India's most popular tourist destinations. Passengers have welcomed this new service and suggested that it should be made permanent. They believe that a regular train will not only provide better convenience but also increase railway revenue. A large number of people from Agra and nearby areas are traveling to Ahmedabad for Holi celebrations. Many Delhi-bound trains are already full, so people are reaching Agra to take this train.

Currently, two trains run from Agra to Ahmedabad

  1. Via Kota, Ratlam, Dahod

  2. Via Marwar Junction, Pindwara, Abu Road, Mehsana

Passengers are preferring the Holi special train via Udaipur because it follows a direct route.
