Air India has closed all bookings till 30th April. This decision stands for both domestic and international flights.

As per an Air India representative, the decision for resuming bookings will be taken after the lockdown period is finalised by the government. The lockdown period is likely to get over by 14th April, but the airline has decided to wait till it is finalised whether the lockdown will end or will continue. 

PM Modi in his message on the 3rd of April said that the lockdown will have to be dealt with very carefully. It is of utmost importance that the lockdown period is lifted in specific phases so that people don't rush on the roads.

The fear of covid19 is not yet over and it is mandatory that social distancing is maintained even after the lockdown period to eliminate the corna chain entirely.
