Udaipur, December 10,2024- The number of air travelers at Maharana Pratap Airport, Dabok, Udaipur, crossed 1.5 lakh in November. This milestone was achieved after seven months, thanks to the festive season of Diwali.
Record Footfall in November
In November 2024, the airport recorded 1,57,692 passengers. Airport Director Yogesh Nagaich shared that 1,387 flights operated during the month. The last time the airport saw such high passenger traffic was in March 2024, with 1,50,996 travelers.
Increase Compared to October
In October 2024, 1,29,352 passengers used the airport. This means November saw an increase of 28,340 passengers.
Tourism Boost Expected
Aviation expert Ashok Joshi said tourism will grow further in December. Events like the Shilpgram Utsav and New Year celebrations are expected to attract more visitors.
Winter Schedule in Effect
Since October 27, the Winter Schedule has been implemented. The schedule includes 28 flights connecting Udaipur to eight cities. These cities are Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru.
The Winter Schedule will continue until March 29, 2025, and is expected to support rising passenger numbers.
