Growling stomachs need something to eat while on the move. And if the place is just another location where you find most of the city’s crowd wishing to relax, having a food court adds to its attraction.

Udaipur city is about to have another food court where public will not simply eat but also get an opportunity to enjoy paddle boats in the pond and also have the fun of riding the golf cart in the park. This place is none other than the city’s well known place Town Hall.

As per sources, all tender processes have been finalised and Municipal Corporation is soon going to turn Town Hall into a great attraction for the local public as well as tourists. The garage committee will operate 2-seater and 4-seater paddle boats in the pond in the children’s park. It may be noted that the park had a provision of paddle boats from 2004 to 2011. In addition to this, golf cart and food court will also act as a magnet for pulling in the crowd. A 3-year contract has been finalised for these new attractions. It is being assumed that Municipal Corporation will get an income of more than 2 lakh rupees p.a. from these facilities.

Proposed tariff for paddle boats (per 10 minutes) and 2 rounds of golf carts respectively:

For Indians- 10 rupees for children upto 2 years of age and 20 rupees for 3+years and above

For Foreign tourists- 20 rupees for children upto 3 years and 40 rupees 3+years and above
