31 ATVM Facilitators to Be Appointed at 14 Stations, Including Udaipur

The Ajmer Railway Division has invited applications for the appointment of 31 facilitators at Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) across 14 stations. This initiative, ordered by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Sunil Kumar Mahla, will last until March 31, 2025, with possible annual extensions as directed by the Railway Board.

14 Stations Include

The positions are open to both retired railway employees and the general public. The 14 stations involved include Udaipur City, Ajmer, Bijainagar, Marwar Junction, Rani, Falna, Pindwara, Madar, Bhilwara, Rana Pratap Nagar, Daurai, Nasirabad, Mavli Junction, and Dungarpur. 

What is ATVM?

ATVM stands for Automatic Ticket Vending Machine, which enables passengers to buy train tickets quickly without waiting in long lines at ticket counters. Indian Railways has installed ATVMs at numerous stations.

How the Machine Works?

  1. Insert a smart card or use UPI payment.
  2. Choose your route and destination on the touchscreen.
  3. Confirm your selection.
  4. Receive a printed ticket and have the fare deducted from your smart card or UPI payment.

Who Can Apply?

Retired railway employees from any department of North Western Railway are eligible to apply. Additionally, their spouses and adult children can also work as facilitators.

For the general public, applicants must be at least 18 years old, have completed matriculation/SSLC or an equivalent qualification, and be a resident of the district where they are applying. They should also be able to communicate in English and Hindi. Priority will be given to retired railway employees over the general public.
