Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu has been requested to start direct flights from Udaipur to Dubai. President of Maharana Pratap Airport Advisory Committee CP Joshi has drawn the attention of Aviation Minister to the fact that Udaipur has a number of people living in Dubai, Kuwait and Sharjah. These people keep flying between Udaipur and these destinations. Since Udaipur airport is well equipped with all facilities required for international flights, direct flights to Dubai must be introduced at the earliest.

CP Joshi also said that domestic flights services must also be expanded and direct flights from Udaipur to Kolkata and Udaipur to Bengaluru must be introduced.
