In a bid to cater to the growing demand for travel to Ayodhya, the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation(RSRTC) has announced the starting of a new bus service starting from February 15, 2024. The service will connect several major cities, providing convenient travel options for pilgrims and travelers alike.

Route and Schedule

The bus service will cover a distance of 1196 kilometers, starting from Rajsamand, Beawar, Jaipur, Agra, Lucknow, and Faizabad, with final arrival in Ayodhya the following day. Departing from Udaipur every morning at 6:30, the bus will reach Ayodhya the next morning at 9:45. The return journey from Ayodhya will commence at 4 p.m., aiming to arrive in Udaipur around 6:30 p.m. the following day.

Fares and Booking

For men traveling from Udaipur to Ayodhya, the fare is set at Rs 1480, while for women, it is Rs 1201. Online ticket booking has already commenced, providing passengers with an easy and hassle-free way to secure their seats.

Seating Arrangement and Future Plans

The bus for this route is configured with a 3 by 2 seating arrangement, offering a total of 47 seats. Presently, the service operates with seating buses. However, in response to passenger demand for more comfortable accommodations on the long journey, the RSRTC plans to introduce sleeper buses once new vehicles are procured from the government.
