Call for Rajsamand to Mumbai Rail Route
Rajsamand MP Mahima Kumari Mewar meets with Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw; requests improved rail services including new routes and station stoppages in constituency

June 12, 2025: Rajsamand Lok Sabha constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Mahima Kumari Mewar has called for the introduction of a rail service between Rajsamand and Mumbai. She put forth this proposal to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw during a meeting with him in New Delhi.
She also urged for the stoppage of various trains at Nathdwara, Degana, Gotan, Merta City, Ren and other railway stations.
In addition to this, MP Mahima Kumari discussed other issues related to the development of railway services in the Parliamentary region. On behalf of the residents of the region, she expressed her gratitude for the stoppage of the Sabarmati-Jammu Tawi Express at Gotan in Rajsamand constituency.
The MP later shared that the Union Railway Minister has assured of prompt and positive action related to the issues raised by her.
