China Rolls Out Online Visa Facility for Indians
China’s Ambassador to India, Xu Feihong announced that online visa applications for Indians will resume from December 22
Dec 9, 2025 - Applying for a visa to China for Indians has now gotten easy after the launch of an online visa application system. China’s Ambassador to India, Xu Feihong, notified on Monday (December 8) that the Chinese Embassy in India will start the online visa application system this month.
This means no booking appointments in advance to submit the applicant’s documents at the Chinese Visa Application Service Centres (CVASCs).
Feihong said on his social media account X that December 22 has been set as the launch date for online visas and also posted the url through which online visas can be applied for.
"Applicants could enjoy convenience of filling out the form and uploading application materials online," Feihong wrote. Providing additional details for applicants, he also shared the offline Embassy’s address, email and contact information timings in his post.
China is also offering reduced visa fees for Indian citizens until December 31, 2025.
