Dakshin Bharat Yatra

Destinations and Sacred Sites

The pilgrimage begins with a visit to Rameshwaram, where pilgrims will pay homage at the revered Sri Ramnath Swamy Temple, steeped in mythology and history. From there, the journey proceeds to Madurai, renowned for the majestic Meenakshi Temple, an architectural marvel and spiritual hub.

Continuing southward, travellers will reach Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India, offering panoramic vistas and spiritual serenity. The itinerary includes a comprehensive local sightseeing tour, allowing pilgrims to immerse themselves in the cultural tapestry of the region.

The next leg of the journey takes pilgrims to Trivandrum (Kochuveli), where the divine aura of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple awaits. Additionally, pilgrims will explore the picturesque Kovalam Beach. 

The next destination will be Markapur. Tourists will visit Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga Temple here. The journey ends in Tirupati, home to the renowned Lord Venkateshwar Swamy Temple.
