Eco-Tourism started by Forest Department

Forest Department Udaipur has started Eco-Tourism, for which a Workshop was organised in the seminar hall of Divisional Commissioner office, in presence of all the officials of the department. In this, the forest department will start Jeep Safari in the various Wild Life Sanctuaries of the district including Kumbalgarh, Bassti and Sita Mata.

Forest Department Udaipur has started Eco-Tourism, for which a Workshop was organised in the seminar hall of Divisional Commissioner office, in presence of all the officials of the department. In this, the forest department will start Jeep Safari in the various Wild Life Sanctuaries of the district including Kumbalgarh, Bassti and Sita Mata.

Today, in the workshop, planning of starting eco-trekking along with adventurous activities was discussed. The officials of the department have unveiled brochures of Jeep Safari, which is now open for the masses. The department will be developing more similar possibilities in other wild life sanctuaries.

According to Satish Sharma, Spokesperson, District Forest Department, these activities are promoted with a motto of spreading awareness among masses, along with developing new attraction for the tourists.

Satish Sharma added that Jeep Safari can be availed at nominal prices of Rs. 300 – Rs. 400 per head, while an option of full day and half day is kept. Participants would be provided with meals which is included in the price.
