A tractor trolley was stuck at the railway track. Had the brakes not been applied on time, a disastrous accident would have occurred. 

Mewar Superfast Express train was in for a huge disaster on Wednesday. Emergency brakes had to be applied at gate number 73. 

The superfast express train was on its way to Hazrat Nizamuddin junction from Udaipur. At gate number 73, a tractor trolley got stuck and it was time for the train to be at this gate. 

The loco-pilot was given information about the hazard on the track. The emergency brakes were applied on time and the train was stopped. Had the brakes not been applied, a massive disaster would have occurred and many lives could have been claimed. 

Mewar Express left Rana Pratap station at around 6: 35 p.m. Information rolled out that a tractor trolley was stuck at gate 73 and it was full of heavy stones. The relevant officers took immediate action and informed the loco-pilot Sohan Sukhwal who with the help of assistant loco-pilot Hanuman applied emergency brakes to bring the train to a halt. Post this, the stones were unloaded from the trolley and the track was cleared.
