Udaipur flight route is expanding. In the series of additions of new sectors, we are now about to have direct flights to the golden city-Jaisalmer. Under the Regional Contact Scheme (RCS), Indigo Air is beginning its first connectivity with Jaisalmer in April.

Until now there is no direct connection of Udaipur with Jaisalmer. The Golden City is not connected directly with Udaipur even via rail route. People wishing to go to Ramdevra and Tanot Mata ji are required to travel all the way to Jaislamer via Jodhpur which is actually a long route. With this direct flight of Indigo Air, Udaipur public can plan a good trip to Jaisalmer. The flight is likely to take one hour to reach Jaisalmer from Udaipur and the estimated fare is 2500 rupees. Tourists on a visit to Lakecity need not go back to Sun City Jodhpur to reach Jaisalmer, instead they will be pleased that flight from Lake City can take them directly to Golden City now.
