Fog Disrupts Udaipur Flights: 13 Delayed, One Cancelled
Flight operations at Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur, were hit by dense fog on Tuesday morning causing passenger inconvenience
Udaipur, Jan 7, 2026 - Flight operations at Maharana Pratap Airport (Dabok) in Udaipur continue to be affected day after day owing to dense fog and poor visibility. On Tuesday (January 6), a total of 13 flights operating to and from major cities - including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru - were delayed while one flight was cancelled.
Considering the adverse weather forecast, IndiGo cancelled its round trip flight Jaipur-Udaipur-Jaipur - number 6E7465/6E7718 - in advance. Passengers were informed by the airline well on time.
Several flights of IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet and Air India Express could not operate on schedule, causing significant inconvenience to passengers. Flight operations gradually normalised by afternoon, after improvement in weather conditions, although the impact of delays remained visible across the entire schedule.
