Eco-Tourism in Udaipur

The Forest Department has launched a new tour program to promote eco-tourism. This initiative will take tourists to famous eco-tourism sites in southern Rajasthan. The program is set to begin on July 21,2024, starting from Ranakpur and Jawai Dam.

Deputy Forest Conservator D.K. Tiwari announced that bookings can be made by contacting the designated person at 7568348678. Tourists must register in advance. The tours will depart from the Forest Department at Chetak Circle on Sunday mornings as per schedule.

The program includes visits to several notable locations

  • Phulwari ki Nal Sanctuary
  • Raoli Todgarh Sanctuary: Gorum Ghat and Bhilberi Waterfall.
  • Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary and Sitamata Sanctuary: Arampura trek and Jakhm Dam.
  • Jaisamand Sanctuary: Jhoomar Bawdi and Dera Baghdarrah .
  • Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary: Various attractions.

Leopard safari rates for Ranakpur and Jawai have been established. The package includes transportation in air-conditioned vehicles, tea and snacks, lunch, sanctuary entry fees, toll tax, eco-guide charges, and maintenance charges for eco-sites.
