After Palace on Wheels, Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation is set to unveil its Wedding on Wheels package. Priced at a princely sum of Rs 5.5 Cr, the eight day wedding package will start from Mumbai and culminate at Delhi passing through Ajanta, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Ranthambore and Agra.

The train can be booked for luxury wedding package of the Heritage of India tour  for 88 persons. An official from IRCTC mentioned that the package is targeted at uber rich and will have the best of everything. The entire event will be managed by experts making it a memorable event for bride, groom and families.

The exact details of package are yet to be finalised but the packages can be customised on demand. The idea is to incorporate wedding festivities along with experience of traversing through Incredible India.

Besides the Mumbai-Delhi package, train can also be booked for Indian Panorama tour starting from Delhi and passing through Jaipur, Agra, Gwalior, Khajuraho, Varanasi and Lucknow.

Besides Weddings on Wheel, IRCTC is also planning to host top-line corporate events, movie shoots, fashion shows etc in one of the most luxurious trains in India.
