A metre-gauge track heritage train is all set to commence its journey from Marwar Junction to Kamli Ghat. This remarkable initiative, scheduled to start this Thursday, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a virtual ceremony on October 5, 2023.

The highlight of this heritage train is undoubtedly its historic 150-year-old steam engine, which promises to transport passengers back in time. Additionally, the train consits of a  luxurious 60-seat Vistadome AC coach, offering passengers unparalleled panoramic views of the picturesque valleys along the route.

For those eager to experience this unique journey, a reserved ticket for a single individual will be priced at Rs. 2,000. The train will be operational four days a week, ensuring ample opportunities for visitors to embark on this nostalgic voyage through some of India's most stunning landscapes of Marwar-Kamlighat route.
