Increase of tourism in Udaipur during monsoon season...
The monsoon season has started in Udaipur, bringing hopes of greenery and boosting tourism. Currently, the weekends are bustling with tourists. Hotels have offered monsoon packages, which include a two-day stay in Udaipur and two days in Kumbhalgarh. These packages come with meals and visits to excellent destinations during the monsoon.
Industry insiders believe that the number of tourists will increase starting from the beginning of July. According to the sources tourists from coming mostly from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Delhi.
Hotels have introduced a 4-night and 5-day package for monsoon tours. This includes a two-night stay in Udaipur and two nights in Kumbhalgarh. The cost ranges between Rs 15,000/- to Rs 20,000/- per person, covering meals, accommodation and travel.
Additionally, trips to hill stations like Rayta Hills, Alsigarh and Ubeshwarji will be arranged. These spots are known for their beautiful waterfalls during the monsoon season.
Rakesh Chaudhary, the secretary of the Hotel Association of South Rajasthan, noted that bookings are full on weekends in lakeside hotels as well as in resorts and villas.
