Udaipur, December 30, 2024 - Indian Railways is introducing a new safety system called Kavach 4.0 on its major routes. This system will help prevent train accidents and make train operations smoother and safer. The system will first be installed on the North Frontier Railway, covering a distance of 1,966 kilometers between Malda Town and Dibrugarh.

What is Kavach 4.0?

Kavach 4.0 is an advanced safety system that uses modern technology to reduce human errors and protect trains from accidents. It is better and more advanced than the older version of Kavach.
