The Railway Board has approved the extension of Train No. 19329/19330, the Indore-Udaipur-Indore Express till Asarva Railway Station in Ahmedabad.  The extension to Asarva will be effective from 4 March 2023 and will operate on the new gauge converted section. The Railway Board issued a notification to this effect on 28 February 2023.

On 4 March, the train coming from Indore to Udaipur will leave Udaipur at 7:30 in the morning and reach Asarva at 1:20 in the afternoon on the same day. The train will have 22 coaches.

While there will be no change in the running of the Indore Udaipur Express between Indore and Udaipur, the timings from Udaipur to Asarva and Asarva to Udaipur will cause the train schedule to change as follows:

Train No 19329 (Indore-Udaipur-Asarva): Will leave Indore at 5:40 in the evening, reach Udaipur at 4:15 early in the morning the next day. This train will then leave Udaipur at 5 in the morning and will reach Asarva at 10:55 in the morning on the same day. The return journey (Train No. 19330) will begin at Asarva at 2:15 in the afternoon and the train will reach Udaipur at 8:05 in the evening. This train will then leave Udaipur at 20:35 in the evening and reach Indore the next day at 7 in the morning.

UdaipurTimes had published a news to this effect last week, quoting the BJP MPs from the region, who said that the above trains will be running soon.
