UdaipurTimes, Sept 23, 2026 - A window-trailing and on-site inspection of safety, operations and passenger facilities along the Udaipur–Madar Junction rail section of the Ajmer division was carried out by North Western Railway General Manager Pankaj Sharma. Giving highest priority to safety, the GM directed railway officials to further strengthen operations.
During the inspection, he reviewed various operational arrangements including ongoing development work, track maintenance, signalling functions and administration of railway station premises at Kapasan, Mavli, Fatehnagar and Bhilawara.
According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mihir Dev, the ongoing work at Rana Pratap Nagar Railway Station under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme was reviewed by the GM and necessary directions given.
At Kapasan station, GM Sharma was handed over a memorandum concerning demands raised by local residents.
Divisional Railway Manager Raju Bhootda and other senior railway officials were present during the inspection visit.
