Bharat Gaurav Train

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) introduces a special Bharat Gaurav Train catering to pilgrims, particularly those planning a trip to Ayodhya during the summer vacations. This exclusive train will enable pilgrims to visit significant religious sites including Jagannath Puri, Gangasagar, Gaya, Varanasi, and Ayodhya. Departing from Udaipur on May 17,2024, the train will traverse through Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Ajmer, and Jaipur, spanning a 12-day journey.

Travel Itinerary

Pilgrims will have the opportunity to explore renowned religious landmarks such as Jagannath Dham in Puri, Konark Sun Temple, Gangasagar pilgrimage site, Kalighat Temple in Kolkata, Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Mahabodhi and Vishnupad temples in Gaya, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi.

Accommodation and Booking Details

IRCTC's Joint General Manager/Tourism Yogendra Singh elaborated that Bharat Gaurav Train will provide third AC class accommodations. The journey offers two categories: standard and comfort. The standard category, priced at Rs 26,660/-, includes AC train travel, non-AC lodging, and non-AC transportation. Meanwhile, the comfort category, priced at Rs 31,975/-, offers AC train travel, accommodations, and air-conditioned transportation.

Additional Offerings

In addition to the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train, IRCTC will also operate Bharat Gaurav Train for a South India pilgrimage tour from May 3 to May 14. Departing from Udaipur, this 12-day journey will encompass visits to Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Trivandrum, Mallikarjun, and Tirupati Balaji.
